Dental Health Week 2017
This week is Dental Heath Week and it’s a great opportunity to promote the benefits of regular dental checks and cleans.
When we say regular, we mean every 6 months. This interval generally allows our dentists to pick up on changes early and tend to any problems with minimal impact (both physically and financially).
It’s true that some people shy away from a regular dental check-up because of anxiety about what the experience might be like. Historically these feelings were fair enough, -Go back far enough and you’d have a blacksmith tending to teeth in between hammering on sets of horseshoes.
Thankfully, we’ve entered an era of modern dentistry where clinics have a much stronger focus on delivering a positive patient experience.
